The Rybaks in China




We are leaving for Beijing on Oct. 3, 2018.  I am excited about this trip but I have to say I am not looking forward to the long flight.  I will try to post comments and pictures here ... if I am allowed to, in China.  Since this is my first attempt at blogging ... I will do my best.

    FYI to all. I created this blog on my computer and I have been posting on my computer. When in China, I will only have my iPad .. so I'm not exactly sure how it will work. I guess I will find out when I get there and if I get internet. Nite all.
    (P.S. It seems the time zone on this blog is 3 hours earlier than my Toronto time. And China is 12 hours ahead of me ... so on this blog, when I'm in China, I will be 15 hours ahead.)

      You can change the time zone in your settings, but am not sure it's worth messing with right now. Do it when you get back. I do post from my ipad on my blogs. It's not quite as easy, but if you're not going to post a long post it works fine. The primary difference is posting pictures. It's more like sharing. Suggest you try one post and picture from your ipad before you go as a practice. Lois says she's following you, I will do the same; but subscribing by email is something you should still do. Go to your layout, you'll see it, it's a matter of just clicking and it will be added.

    I'm your first follower, but no profile picture shows up. Probably because you're google+ and I'm not? Not sure. I also see at the very top you have the subscribe, so did that as well. Suggest you move that (click and drag) to your sidebar so it's not with your blog title
